This album comes from a collaboration with the multimedia artist Bartholomäus Traubeck.
The Traubeck's sound-work "Years" is the result of a generative process that output piano music by analyzing the strength, thickness and rate of some trees growth rings ( traubeck.com/years/ ).
Inspired by that great idea i composed this new album entitled "dendrophonia".
I would like to consider this as a journey through the imaginary life of some of those trees in their environment.
A mix between two different interpretative models of a possible secret language of plants: one technological and another emotional.
